James Ainsworth returns to BDO in Sydney as Business Services Partner
BDO Australia has announced a new partner, James Ainsworth, who is returning to the firm after three years running Ainsworth Advisory, assisting small and medium companies with their outsourced finance functions.
BDO Sydney Office Managing Partner, Grant Saxon, said he was delighted to welcome James back to the firm as a partner in BDO’s growing Business Services practice.
“James started his career with BDO (then PKF), as a cadet in 2006 and we are pleased he has come back to the fold after three years running his own advisory practice.”
“His return is recognition of BDO’s strong position in the mid-market, our unique culture, our approach to client service and the quality of our work,” Grant said.
“James’ experience running his own business, in particular providing cloud-based management reporting solutions and outsourced CFO services to SMEs, will be invaluable to BDO’s growing client base. Our clients and colleagues are delighted to have him back at BDO in Sydney.
“He brings extensive skills and experience helping clients transition to cloud technology, which is a game changer in our industry.
“This expertise, combined with his extensive accounting, outsourcing and taxation skills will help our clients to adapt to the massive challenges that lie ahead.
“BDO is seeing continued demand for our traditional services of audit and tax now being matched by client requests for our advisory offering.
“The business environment in Australia has had to swiftly adapt in the last twelve months which is driving demand for firms that can provide clients with a strong advisory relationship supported by deep sector and market knowledge.”
