In the era of technological advancement, what are the current opportunities and challenges facing Queensland business? 

Earlier this month, BDO held its annual BDO Outlook, one of our flagship events designed to encourage open conversation and spotlight the key opportunities and challenges facing Queensland businesses in our dynamic economic climate.  

Challenging the issues driving Queensland’s growth, our industry-leading panellists spotlighted changing workforce behaviours, the role of technology, and the infrastructure projects set to redefine the State. 

The discussion emphasised Queensland's quick population growth and the upcoming Olympic Games and the role our large infrastructure projects, paired with technology, will play in this. 

While fundamentals in the Sunshine State are strong, the proposed levels of growth require careful planning and, even more importantly, decisive leadership and coordination between various levels of Government.  

Our Outlook event endeavours to be an avenue for discussion and debate – exploring key issues to enable Queenslanders to be better educated about the options and appropriate solutions available to them.
