Steven is Managing Partner of BDO’s Brisbane Office, guiding the firm as it strengthens its position as a leading provider of audit, tax and advisory services. Drawing on an extensive corporate finance background and more than 20 years with the firm, he leads BDO’s agenda to ensure clients can navigate market conditions and leverage opportunities. High on his radar is the need for meaningful taxation reform at state and federal levels.

One of Steven’s key focus areas is ensuring BDO and its people have the right tools to adapt to developments in the professional services and finance industries. He works with the firm’s leadership team – locally and nationally – to create an environment where all team members have the opportunity to develop personally, play to their strengths and support each other.

  Steven became Managing Partner of BDO in Brisbane following the firm’s integration with BDO’s Sydney and Melbourne offices in 2020. Have led the Corporate Finance service line locally and nationally for some time, he now leads the partnership and teams to continually build on BDO’s reputation for exceptional client services and leverage the benefits of increased collaboration.

  Steven specialises in corporate finance advisory, having led engagements for business sales, capital raisings, acquisitions, restructures and private company transactions. Working with multi-million dollar companies, he has prepared financial models, Independent Expert Reports and Independent Accountant Reports for public and private company transactions and managed valuations and due diligence processes across a wide range of sectors.
