Vanessa Vaillant

Vanessa is energetic and passionate about helping leaders navigate and drive change in their organisations. She is a Director in our People Advisory team at BDO in Sydney. Vanessa has over ten years’ experience supporting clients to solve complex challenges and manage the people side of change to achieve business results, whilst preserving organisational culture and values.

She understands how organisations work and the critical connection between people, process and technology. Her passion lies in helping clients make changes within their organisation to achieve their purpose.

Vanessa has worked on transformations of various scope and size with clients to define a clear strategy and purpose, meet changing regulatory requirements, define new ways of working, develop organisational structures aligned to the vision and implement technology changes.

Vanessa is well-recognised for her ability to lead these transformations from a change management capacity. She always has people front of mind during the process and brings to the forefront change gaps and people risks.

Her ambition to work overseas led her to BDO in Sydney in 2018. Before moving to Sydney, Vanessa joined BDO in Canada. She started her career in a boutique consulting firm specialising in the public sector.
