Tim Kendall

Tim is an Audit Partner with BDO in Brisbane. He has extensive experience in the audit of clients from a wide range of industries including financial institutions, insurance, manufacturing, mining and agribusiness. A large number of these are very large private companies or listed on the ASX.

Tim is a specialist in audit and assurance.  His role includes forming opinions on the truth and fairness of financial reports, preparation of expert reports for prospectuses, audit services in respect of the prudential standards issued by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), and technical advice on risk management systems.  He is also experienced in the interpretation of accounting standards and advising practical solutions to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.

Tim has worked as a chartered accountant since 1985 and has been a Partner since 1994.  Within the Brisbane office, Tim is the Lead Partner for the financial services sector team and Partner in Charge for Audit.  His leadership extends nationally, as BDO Australia National Audit leader.
