• Transfer pricing analysis and advice for a global mining group in relation to highly complex transactions conducted by the global Iron Ore business and global technology and development, including IP matters.
• Regional transfer pricing advice and support for international related party transactions across a diversified range of mining products and industries, including aluminium, alumina, bauxite, copper, diamonds, lithium, salt, freight and exploration, in addition to supporting arrangements relating to sophisticated centralised global functions.
• Transfer pricing analysis and facilitation of commercial problem solving related to complex joint venture arrangements.
• Management of the significant compliance aspects of a mining group’s transfer pricing in Australia, including disclosures in the income tax return and relevant schedules, and preparation of detailed documentation for provision to the Australian Taxation Office and regulators in other jurisdictions aligned with OECD.

• Led transfer pricing on a long running sales and marketing audit, dispute and settlement
• Led transfer pricing on a significant transaction restructure from agency to trader model
• Managed the reorganisation of IP assets for the acquisition of a business
• Led transfer pricing on a project to licence IP for commercialisation purposes
• Developed a global transfer pricing policy for decarbonisation projects.
