Sanghyun Yang

Sang is a Director within the Project & Infrastructure Advisory team in BDO’s Sydney office with over 15 years’ experience in urban planning, developing infrastructure policies and project management for infrastructure.

Sang is certified in project management and is experienced in managing infrastructure policies, infrastructure grant funding programs and overseeing portfolio and business operations for state and local governments in New South Wales and Queensland. He has also managed and prepared business cases for government agencies and private clients.

Having worked in government for most of his career, Sang has great insight into government agencies to help progress projects effectively and mitigate risks and issues. This is complemented with his experience in managing offices of senior executives in the NSW Department of Planning & Environment and leading a series of business and operational improvement activities.

The initiatives Sang has worked on provide critical infrastructure to enable housing, jobs and improve access to open and public spaces.
