Rudy Pieck

Rudy is a Business Services Partner with BDO in South Australia. He is a revered tourism expert and wine connoisseur, with this passion reflected in his client base. Rudy is goal and process driven, supporting the same approach to drive success with many entrepreneurial and fast growth businesses.

Rudy has considerable experience in providing compliance, business, strategic and performance improvement advice.  He is also a sought after mentor to owner managed businesses.  In growing his practice, Rudy has developed software benchmarking programs to support specialist industries, including the tourist park Accommodation Pricing Tool (APT®) and an adaptation of the Virtual Winery System for wine businesses in Australia and New Zealand. As a result, he is a sought after speaker on industry benchmarking, forecasting and trends. 

Rudy has over 35 years of experience in public practice. Having started his career with BDO, Rudy returned in 2000 as a Partner, following four years in Corporate Finance with Arthur Andersen.  He has held many leadership positions with the firm, is Chairman of Partners for the South Australian practice, and Board Member of BDO Australia.
