Nicholas is a partner in the Government Incentives and Indirect Tax teams with BDO in Sydney.

Nicholas provides advice in the area of research and development (R&D) and indirect tax to clients ranging from small private entities to large multinationals.

Nicholas has significant experience providing R&D advice for mining, mechanical and electrical engineering, product development, process development and software. He also has extensive experience dealing with investigations from government departments responsible for administering the R&D tax incentive program (being AusIndustry and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)).

Nicholas also provides advice in relation to good and service tax (GST) and indirect taxes, including fuel tax credits. Particular focus areas include international indirect taxes and financial services.
