Michael is a Partner in BDO’s Audit & Assurance team in Brisbane. He has a hands-on role, overseeing audit function progress during engagements and planning and managing audits for completion within client deadlines. Michael also assists with internal system and process implementations.
He is responsible for ensuring the team conducting the audit do so in a way that offers BDO clients the most value.
Michael has been with BDO since 1999 and has completed two international secondments in Manchester, UK and New York, USA.

- Audits for numerous health fund providers; acted as lead auditor in the IPO of China’s largest hospital group, with five hospitals and more than 10,000 beds
- Audit services for multi-location nursing homes offering various levels of care—including high and low-care—for various aged care providers.
- Audits for approved deposit-taking institutions in the retail and commercial banking sectors and one of New York’s largest hedge funds dealing in multi-billion-dollar funds on investment.
- Audits for various agriculture-related businesses, including orchards, nut groves, peanuts, ginger, crustaceans, and wineries.
- Audits for large national construction groups involved in building homes, multi-storey buildings, and major government infrastructure throughout Australia
- Audits for large groups developing sites for resale and rental income.
