Mal Sciacca

Mal is Managing Partner with BDO in Darwin.  He has an open, down-to-earth leadership style that facilitates a cooperative and team focussed environment.  This is reflected in both his office and client relationships.

As an assurance and accounting specialist, Mal has built extensive experience across sectors, building strong business and analytical skills.  He has worked with government and private businesses, including Departments of Health, Infrastructure and Transport, Territory Wildlife Parks, Public Trustees Office, Land Corporation, and Darwin Ports Corporation.  Mal supports clients with planning, performance management and management reporting.  He also provides business advice around driving and supporting growth. 

With more than 47 years in public and private practice, Mal grew from accountant, to auditor and business advisor.  He now leads a team of six partners and 45 staff.
