Leah Russell

Leah has been in accounting and audit for over 20 years. She provides audit and assurance services to a broad range of clients, spanning ASX listed entities, large private groups and for purpose entities.

Leah has recently joined BDO as a Partner, after 17 years with another global accounting firm in Sydney, 12 of which were as partner. Her role at the previous global accounting firm included managing the New South Wales partners along with being on the National leadership team.

Leah’s vast experience includes directorships and managing the accounting for a family business which has been audited, ensuring that she appreciates the experience of working with auditors. Her clients and fellow board members confirm that she is approachable, collaborative, calm in all circumstances and timely in communication.

Leah has a passion for training and developing her team, ensuring that they deliver on the agreed approach.
