Jonathan Cave

Jonathan is a Partner in BDO’s Business Services team in Sydney and has extensive experience supporting public companies, privately-owned businesses, public sector entities and international subsidiaries.

Working in a close-knit team, he drives and maintains the team’s values of approachability, responsiveness, and support.

Jonathan specialises in technology-based annual reporting solutions under all accounting frameworks. He is also highly-skilled in advising on and setting up structures for start-ups that facilitate intellectual property asset and future funding protection, including through listing.

He assists with decision-making around corporate and tax governance and ATO dispute resolution. He also helps clients with a broad range of complex needs, understanding and prioritising risks and opportunities across their businesses, and developing practical and tailored solutions to each.

Jonathan joined BDO after completing his Chartered Accountant qualification; he has since spent time working in audit and corporate advisory roles. Prior to starting his chartered accounting career, he spent a year working in the manufacturing sector.
