Jarrod Martin

Jarrod has over ten years of combined experience as both an R&D adviser and a professional engineer. His unique combination of public accounting and practical industry experience has allowed him to develop a broad understanding of R&D processes. He leverages this wealth of knowledge to maximise clients’ R&D tax claims, while delivering an exceptional experience for both the finance and engineering personnel.

Jarrod’s experience includes participating in a long-term secondment with BDO USA and partnering with colleagues in various tax jurisdictions. Through this experience, Jarrod has developed a wealth of knowledge covering a range of R&D regimes including those for the US, UK, Canada, France and New Zealand.

Jarrod is a Digital Transformation Leader for BDO’s National R&D practice and has been instrumental in the design, development and deployment of the technology and tools used by the team. Jarrod has leveraged his wealth of industry knowledge to inform the design of BDO’s technology – resulting in a solution that caters to the needs of the engineers, scientists, and developers that BDO engage with over the course of a project.
