Ian Hooper

Ian is an Audit Partner with BDO in Sydney. His friendly nature attracts a broad client base, which benefits from his coupling of financial and energy audit expertise.

Ian provides audit, assurance and advisory services. His clients range from small private entities to large, listed, multinational companies. He has worked in the UK, Canada, Hong Kong and China, where he gained exposure to overseas business practices and accounting requirements. Uniquely, Ian is a registered greenhouse gas and energy auditor

Ian joined BDO in 2012 as Partner, with the integration of PKF’s East Coast Partnership. He has 20 years' experience in the accounting profession and is currently the head of BDO's Financial Model team. Ian also participates in BDO’s Property & Construction and Infrastructure sector teams.
