Eddie Chung

Eddie is a Business Services Consultant with BDO in Brisbane.

Eddie provides business and taxation advisory services, ranging from tax compliance and accounting services to specialist taxation and business advice in the areas of tax planning, transactional tax matters, taxation audits, objections, appeals, and private ruling applications, business and investment structuring and restructuring, acquisitions and mergers, succession and estate planning, review of organisational finance function, other ad hoc finance-related special projects, corporate governance, and strategic planning.

Given Eddie's board experience, he regularly attends client board meetings in the capacity as a board member, an advisory board member, or a trusted adviser. He also facilitates courses on finance and corporate governance for the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Eddie joined BDO in 1996 after gaining experience as an accountant in another mid-tier accounting firm. He was appointed Partner in 2007 and moved into the role of Consultant in 2024.
