David Blake

David is a Tax Partner with BDO in Melbourne. He is both strategic and creative, naturally aligned with clients seeking support with new business ventures; particularly in acquisitions.

David is a tax specialist, with a wealth of experience in assisting clients in merger and acquisition transactions – particularly in relation to due diligence; structuring (both domestic and cross-border) and vendor due diligence. His technical skills reflect cover Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), due diligence reports, participation on due diligence committees, tax losses, thin capitalisation, preferred debt / equity financing structures, tax consolidations and advising matters relevant to the sales process.

David joined BDO in 2010, as Partner. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of taxation, having worked with a number of accounting firms, including Big 4, as well as the ATO.
