Cate is a Director of BDO’s IFRS & Corporate Reporting team in Melbourne. An experienced chartered accountant, she has over 30 years of applied knowledge in interpreting and applying Australian and International accounting standards and financial reporting regulations.

Cate’s technical, solid accounting skills and practical abilities enable her to expertly interpret and apply accounting standards and provide practical advice and guidance on financial reporting requirements. In addition, she has guided the ethical and regulatory requirements applicable to chartered accountants.

Before joining BDO, Cate gained experience across various sectors – including banking, logistics, professional services, and professional bodies. Cate can identify her clients’ most critical issues and explain how they apply. This allows her to provide practical guidance on applying financial reporting requirements rather than just focusing on the theoretical requirements.
