BDO receives WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) citation

BDO is proud to announce that the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) has awarded us the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) citation for 2023-2025. This citation recognises our commitment to addressing the drivers of gender inequality in our workplace and meeting the criteria set by WGEA.

Being recognised as one of 115 EOCGE citation holders enables us to positively differentiate our workplace with our employees, potential recruits, customers and suppliers. BDO is dedicated to continuing the efforts to improve gender equality outcomes and we are honoured to be recognised for our achievements.

“By taking action to improve gender equality, we have unlocked enormous benefits for our people and the firm. We know people are more likely to stay in and join organisations like ours that prioritise a culture of equality and inclusion,” said BDO chief executive partner, Tony Schiffmann.

“We thank the WGEA for this recognition and look forward to participating in their Community of Practice and sharing ideas with other recognised employers. We are committed to promoting gender equality in the workplace and will continue to strive for excellence in this area.”
