BDO breaks 250 partner milestone and announces partner promotions and new-year hires

BDO’s growth trajectory continues to rise with the announcement of two new partner hires and five new-year promotions taking the firm’s total number of partners to over 250.

BDO Australia released details of New Year promotions and new partner hires today, announcing five new partner promotions from 1 January 2023 across the firm in audit (3) and advisory (2).

In addition, the firm released details of two new partners who will start at BDO on 16 January 2023:

Josh Goulton will join BDO as a Risk Advisory Partner in the firm’s Greater Western Sydney office from 16 January 2023.  Josh’s focus will be on internal audit and risk management solutions. He joins from Deloitte and has spent over a decade managing large internal audit programs and delivering complex and sensitive reviews for a variety of clients in the natural resource and government sectors.

Julianne Kennedy will join BDO as a People Advisory Partner based out of the firm’s Brisbane office from 16 January 2023. Her focus at BDO will be to support her clients to effectively harness and future proof their workforce.

Julianne joins BDO from EY and with over a decade of consultancy experience both internationally and locally, she has held positions responsible for delivering workforce optimisation and transformation, implementing organisational change management, adopting emerging technologies, developing capability uplift strategies, and providing guidance on workforce strategy, design, and execution.

BDO chief executive partner, Tony Schiffmann, commented on the 1 January promotions and new partner hires.

This latest round of promotions and new hires takes the firm’s total number of partners to 252 breaking the 250-partner milestone!
