On 1 November 2024 and 19 February 2025, Andrew Fielding and Helen Newman were appointed Joint and Several Receivers to the ALAMMC Group.

Investors were provided with notifications of our appointments on 8 November 2024. A further update to investors was issued on 17 December 2024 and 7 April 2025.

If you are an investor of the listed companies in the above item 1 (List of Companies), and you have not received any of the abovementioned correspondence from the Receivers, we ask that you please contact this office by email at ALAMMC.enquiries@bdo.com.au as soon as possible to assist the Receivers in their ongoing investigations and obtain copies of the correspondence.

ALAMMC Developments 8 Pty Ltd (AD8)

On 19 February 2025, Andrew Fielding and Helen Newman were appointed Joint and Several Receivers to AD8.Investors of AD8 were provided with a notification of the Receivers’ appointment on 3 March 2025. If you have not received this update, we ask that you please contact our office.

On 20 March 2025 the Supreme Court in Queensland ordered that AD8 be wound up, and that Andrew Fielding and Helen Newman be appointed Joint and Several Liquidators. The Liquidators’ appointment made by the Supreme Court will run in conjunction with the Receivers’ appointment made under the Federal Court until the Federal Court makes further orders in that regard.

Receivers’ Reports

The first Receivers’ report for Defendants one to fifteen was submitted to the Federal Court of Australia on 25 February 2025. The second Receivers’ report for Defendant sixteen (AD8) was submitted to the Federal Court of Australia on 17 March 2025.

On 25 March 2025 the Receivers received permission from the Court to provide a copy of the redacted report in respect of defendants 1 – 15 to Investors. A redacted copy was sent to investors on 7 April 2025. The Receivers’ report in respect of AD8 was also provided to relevant investors (in an unredacted form) on the same date.

Next Update

The future appointment of the Receivers and Managers and Receivers will remain in effect until further orders are made by the Court, subject to any applications by ASIC. We are not able to provide information as what orders may be sought by ASIC or any associated timeframes.

We will provide a further update to investors once the decision of the Court is known.
