Metal Men Recycling acquired by ROC Partners

Metal Men Recycling was acquired in October 2022 by ROC Partners as part of a ‘green steel’ roll-up alongside Pacific Metal Group and Cougar Recycling.

Founded in 2013, Metal Men Recycling is one of Victoria’s leading scrap metal recyclers processing approximately 30,000 tonnes of steel, aluminium and copper annually from its purpose designed Pakenham facility.

Amid a heightened focus on global carbon emissions, ROC Partners’ Victoria-focused ‘green steel’ roll-up will seek to lower the carbon footprint of Australia’s steel industry through an increased use of recycled metals via investment in collections infrastructure and processing equipment.

Metal Men Recycling’s founder appointed BDO to manage the sale process led by Mergers & Acquisitions Partner, Tony Schiavello, and supported by Director, Silvio Colaluca, and Senior Manager, Lachlan Cantwell.
