Client nameMercy Community Services

Mercy Community Services has transferred the provision of its Disability Supported Independent Living (SIL) services to Achieve Australia and Inclusive Housing Australia (IHA) following an extensive tender process.

BDO proudly supported Mercy Community Services in achieving the strategic initiative to transition its Disability SIL services with minimal impact on the staff and residents, ensuring they could continue to work and live in the same locations after Mercy Community Services’ exit.

BDO’s deal advisory team, led by David Ward, provided lead advisory services to Mercy Community Services, successfully managing a tightly controlled and highly completive process and exploring all available options. BDO’s support assisted Mercy Community Services to strategically exit the provision of its Disability SIL operations with minimal disruption to staff and residents.

“It was a great job from the BDO team in steering this process to a successful conclusion. We extend our thanks for their invaluable assistance.” Justin Lorenz, Chief Executive Officer, Mercy Community Services.
