Autoleague has acquired the Australian automotive dealerships of Japanese-listed IDOM Inc.

Autoleague comprises a network of 26 dealerships across Western Australia and Victoria, generating over $1.5 billion in revenue and representing many of Australia’s leading brands.

BDO Partners, Tony Schiavello and Sam Venn, are proud to have led the management buy-out of IDOM Inc’s equity in the group on behalf of key executives and the dealer principals.

BDO’s M&A and Automotive specialists worked seamlessly to structure and execute the acquisition, raise capital from new equity investors, source debt funding and manage the objectives of various stakeholders including manufacturers, landlords and transaction consultants.

This distinctive transaction within the automotive sector has enabled management to acquire a majority stake in the business and pursue future growth under the Autoleague brand alongside a group of like-minded investors.
